Adolf Hitler wanted to perfect the Aryan race. The Aryan race is most commonly defined as blond hair and blue eyes. Hitler believed that the Aryans were the creators of human cultural development. But Hitler also believed that the Jewish people were ruining his plan for the “ideal race”. Hitler’s power enabled him and the German Nazis to take over the Jewish people’s lives completely. Hitler and the Nazis believed that the Jewish people were “racially inferior”. The German SS was given the responsibility in creating the Final Solution to the Jewish problem. Heinrich Himmler (leader of the SS) and the SS came to an agreement in the genocide of the Jewish people. Genocide is defined as the deliberate mass murder of a particular racial, political, or cultural group.
Initially, Reinhard Heydrich, head of the SS’s Security Service, had created the Einsatzgruppen. The Einsatzgruppen were special strike plans that collected Polish Jews, take them from their homes, and put them in ghettoes. In June 1941, the Einsatzgruppen acted as mobile killing units. The Nazis would round up Jewish people and kill them on the spot. But in the eyes of the Nazis this way of murdering Jewish people proved to be too slow. As a result, Hitler established concentration camps in Poland.
One of the most famous concentration camps was in Auschwitz. When the Jewish people were first taken into Nazis’ hands, they did not know what to expect. The Jewish people were taken away in cramped and filthy cattle cars.  With the lack of elbow room, they had to go to the “bathroom” in their spots. Their journey would take hours and even days.  People had to stand to whole ride. When arriving in Auschwitz, the men and women were separated. Then, German troops would send people off into two groups: the sturdy and strong men ready for work and women, children and the elderly to death. Most young boys lied about their age, wanting to work rather than die immediately. Those too weak for hard manual labor would be sent off into the gas chambers. Most Jewish people died of starvation, disease, harsh weathers, and simply being shot by soldiers.
By the end of the Holocaust, SS guards would initiate “death marches”. They would force the Jewish people to walk long journeys without proper clothing in order to escape the Allies liberation. On March 7, 1945 the German forces finally surrendered. The Holocaust was responsible for killed about 5-6 million European Jewish people during World War II. Here is an excerpt from Hold On To The Sun by Michal Govrin:
“My mother, Rina Poser-Laub Govrin left her beloved native city on the eighteenth of October, 1944, on a train going from the Plaszow labor camp to Auschwitz. By then, both her husband and son had been murdered. My mother would never set foot in Krakow again."

It is obvious to me that the Holocaust is real. There is enough evidence and victims to prove it. In my 8th grade graduating class there were less than ten people of Jewish faith. This is modern evidence showing that the Holocaust did murder the Jewish people. So what do you think?
